Two two-story buildings overlook an internal courtyard dominated by a large oak tree, the spatial and symbolic centerpiece of the project. The intervention clarifies the layout and strengthens the relationship between the spaces and the courtyard.

The barn retains its original layout with two open spaces: on the ground floor, the kitchen, dining, and living areas; on the upper floor, a spacious spa area. A 15-meter glass wall highlights the building’s typological identity and the dialogue between interior and exterior, while keeping the historic columns exposed.

The material choices combine tradition and modernity: the original plaster on the façades was partially removed to reveal the Franciacorta stone masonry, complemented by brick inserts, interior floors in local marble, and exterior pathways in terracotta. Natural oak window frames, with a minimalist design, complete a restrained and timeless aesthetic.
