Chalet in Cortina d’Ampezzo
Status: In progress
The 290 m² chalet adjacent to the former barn reinterprets local materials and architectural codes through a contemporary lens.
Coffered ceilings and natural oak boiserie define the spatial structure, lending rhythm and depth to the interiors. The choice of porcelain stoneware tiles, which filter the entrance to the home, becomes a narrative element capable of shaping the environment through textures and the interplay of light, shadow, and reflections. Carefully studied in every detail, the spatial layout naturally guides and separates the different living areas, encouraging a fluid and conscious experience of dwelling. The interiors are articulated into spaces dedicated to relaxation, conviviality, and the pleasure of dining—where the ritual of Italian cuisine finds its ideal setting. The kitchen is the Proxima model by Arclinea, designed by Antonio Citterio, featuring a black PVD finish and a Quarzo Tech Betulla countertop. In collaboration with: Studio Borchia Architetti.
