“Our” project culture, now also in the heart of Padua

In April 2021, Studiolo 1844 opened its new Arclinea Flagship Store at number 14, Galleria Europa, in the heart of Padua: a new and extraordinary space, which has opened its doors to professionals in the furnishing sector and all design enthusiasts. Here you can appreciate our experience and professionalism, our love for design, high quality and beauty, as well as discover the world of Arclinea and its collections designed by the renowned architect Antonio Citterio.

Arclinea is a historic company based in Vicenza, and it has always been at the forefront of the Italian furniture sector, contributing to the development and global success of the very best of Made in Italy. It has found the perfect point of contact with Studiolo 1844, which was already the brand’s sole representative at its headquarters in Albignasego. The space in the Galleria is a gem, full of fascinating kitchens and accessories, including the new Thea kitchen, presented here for the very first time while awaiting Milan Design Week 2021.

This store is a faithful emanation of the “culture of design” that Arclinea has been sharing with one renowned international designer for over 35 years, architect Antonio Citterio: “In the 1970s, the kitchen was a private space, to be hidden away: today it is instead something to show-off to friends, becoming part of the social space that was previously only reserved for the living room. I’d say that studying how the kitchen is both a work space and an environment that is part of everyone’s life, has always been the most important thing in my approach to the collaboration with Arclinea”, says Antonio Citterio in the interview he gave to Stefano Casciani for Arclinea. And this sociability, which is already well-established at our headquarters in Albignasego, will also be expressed here, in Galleria Europa. The initiatives we have implemented so far have all been different and extremely interesting: from the aperitif evenings with Lucas Kelm, the Alajmo Group’s bar manager, who created a special personalised cocktail for Studiolo 1844, to technical demonstrations with our commercial partners, thematic evenings with renowned chefs and international pastry chefs, and cooking meetings, always by invitation only.
